SCSDEF Honored with Good News Award from Schenectady Chamber of Commerce

On April 17, 2024 the Schenectady Chamber of Commerce hosted its County Good News Luncheon. Awards were presented to five organizations in the county, recognizing their achievements over the years and the good news that they brought to the people of Schenectady.  The Schenectady City School District Education Foundation was recognized for its years of work devoted to helping students learn and teachers teach. Since this was the year the SCSDEF achieved the $500,000 milestone in grants, the Chamber felt this was the year to recognize their work. A group from the Board of Directors attended the event and Bill Schultz, the President, accepted the award on behalf of the foundation.
