Honoring the extraordinary

The Foundation presents three “Crystal Apple” awards annually to extraordinary teachers and alumni committed to providing extraordinary support to the Schenectady City School District.

Outstanding Graduate Award

Given to distinguish alumnus who have brought recognition to the district through their achievements.

Community Partner AWARD

An individual or organization providing assistance and support to the school district.

Teachers are nominated by their peers and administrators for their outstanding contributions to the education of Schenectady City Schools students.
