SCSDEF Chosen as July Beneficiary of Rivers Gives initiative by Rivers Casino
The Schenectady City School District Education Foundation (SCSDEF) is honored to have been selected as the non-profit beneficiary for the month of July. Thanks to the “Rivers Gives” initiative by Rivers Casino!
At SCSDEF, our mission is to enhance educational opportunities for students in the Schenectady City School District. We believe in providing resources, scholarships, and innovative programs that empower students to achieve their full potential. Being chosen as the July recipient of Rivers Gives is a tremendous honor for us and further validates our commitment to making a difference in the lives of young learners.
The donation was accepted by Bill Schultz and President Steve Balogh on behalf of the foundation. The Rivers Gives program raised $8,188.58 in support of education in Schenectady! We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the clients and staff at Rivers Casino for their generous support. Their contribution will have a significant impact on education in Schenectady, enabling us to provide even more valuable programs and resources to students.
About Rivers Gives: Our guests raised $53,305 by participating in our monthly Donations Make a Difference campaign (supporting a different organization each month) by donating chips, vouchers and cash in our donation boxes and ticket redemption machines.
