They will buy the “When I feel..” series and stuffed animals for their kindergarten students (3 classes). Reading and dealing with emotions. They will track the number of behavior referrals, classroom behavior, and time on task.

She will buy a Q-ball Throwable Microphone to each of two Social Inquiry classrooms. It is a fun device that encourages kids to participate in lessons. They track involvement now and will do so after the buy the mikes and compare the levels of involvement.

She will buy a small refrigerator/freezer and plates for use by 9 autistic children to learn cooking and related skills. This adds to previous grants.

The kindergarten teachers, et. al will purchase multi-sensory materials for the teaching of literacy (4 teachers 40-50 students). They have set target and will measure different areas throughout the year.
Davis, Andrew (davisan):SHS $325
He will buy recording equipment which will allow his English students and Literacy Club students to make podcasts. He stressed his ESL students. Assessment: Pre and Post surveys and numbers of students involved.
DeCarr, Rick (decarrr@) Oneida $310
Students will learn JAVA script to code robots (money is for the robots and kits). He and Nick Ronca will use the robots with their 50 students each year. Pre & post surveys, completion of a coding challenge, observation.

He is starting a chess club with his 7th graders (20) and buying chess sets, a banner, tee shirts, and having a picnic with awards. Assessment—improved grades and attendance, math skills

Motif Café is a student group that sells coffee to raise money for charities. They want to buy equipment and supplies. Assessment: Sales and donations.
Germano, JoAnne(germanoj@): Ondieda $1150
Oneida Teams Hawks does a multi-disciplinary unit on food. They will use the money to take their approximately 80 students on a field trip to a local farm. Costs are bus, food, a fee to the farm. Students will co-plan the day, write questions and do a pre and post survey.

They will buy copies of of A Gift of Valor: A War Story by Michael Phillips. It is about a war hero named Jason Dunham. Mr. Balogh has been in contact with his parents and is developing a unit about his heroics.

65 students and a dozen teachers want to create the drama club. The money is for audio equipment. Assessment through feedback from audiences, members, and parents. A Show.

They will buy a yearly subscription to Unique Learning which has daily materials for literacy and math and technology for 9 students with autism and Down Syndrome. Assessment: IEPs and regular collection and analysis of data.
