5th grade teachers will take all fifth grade students to Howe Caverns. The money is for busses. She ties it to the science curriculum. Students will use what they learn as part of science reports.

They will buy a one year subscription to everdayspeech.com which will be used throughout the school as part of the social-emotional curriculum. It includes 15 videos which help students master various skills. They have a rubric which will be used to evaluate student growth.

She will buy a number of different games which she will sue to help students expand their vocabulary knowledge and use. They will learn synonyms,, antonyms, prefixes, etc. SYAR Assessment will be used to measure growth.
DeCarr, Rick Oneida $400
He wants to buy books for use by students at home as part of the Learn at Home timeframe. Students will read the books and engage in video chat and Flipgard to meet their groups. There will be a culminating project.

She was going to bring in the SAAKUMO Dance Troupe of Ghana for an assembly. She decided to apply next year.

He wants to purchase archery equipment for units on archery to be used by all of the high school PE teachers. Students will reflect on what they learned.

They will buy copies of Dear Evan Hansen for student to read as preparation for going to see the play at Proctors. They already have the tickets. Assessment will be based on discussions after they see the play.

The teacher will buy building blocks which students will use to learn about historical and contemporary public art monuments. The creation of the projects and students explanations will provide bases for evaluation.

She will purchase athletic equipment for student use during morning and lunch breaks, eg basketballs and nets. They will track student participation and create a power point.

They will take 40 students to Camp Chingachgook for a special program geared for urban students with little outdoors experience. They will learn a number of physical activities and about being stewards of the environment.
White, Jaymes 3 SHS $1750
He wants to take 10 students to a 3 day Camp College experience. They will learn about interviewing, application essays, etc. Assessment: Personal narratives.
