Gary Comley (2011)

2011 Outstanding Graduate Award Winner*

Gary was a graduate of Linton High School and returned to the district where he started teaching in 1976. Gary taught Math and Computer Science and then moved on to serve as Asst. principal at Mont Pleasant. He also served the district as Schenectady High School Principal where he established programs that encouraged students to be active good citizens. He concluded his career in the school district serving as Asst. Superintendent. His career was characterized by his genuine concern for students and staff, his hands-on style, and his daily communications with his students and fellow educators.
